How to 'Scandi-fy' your meatballs

1. Take one tin of meatballs in tomato sauce.

2. Open tin, empty contents into a saucepan. Heat until starting to bubble.

3. Take another tin of marrowfat processed peas.

4. Open, drain of most of its unnaturally vibrant green water, and empty into another saucepan. Heat through.

5. When bubbling, add a good glug of cream to the meatballs and stir through until it starts to bubble again

6. When peas are hot, mash loosely with a fork.

7. Serve the creamy meatballs with mashed potatoes, pureed peas, a few sprigs of dill and a dollop of lingonberry jam (or similar)

8. Njut av din måltid! (Enjoy your meal!)

Simple as that - a meal worthy of the restaurants of a well-known Scandinavian home furnishing retail chain - and you don't even need a screwdriver or spanner to put it together. A tin opener would help though.
