Just over a year on from the horsemeat scandal, when traces of horse were found to be present in low-grade meat products, including burgers, ready meals and even some tinned foods, there is a pleasing irony to the fact that you can still buy tins of My Little Pony pasta shapes in tomato sauce.
100% vegetarian of course, and it's pushing it a bit to say the shapes look anything like ponies - little or otherwise - but I thought it was quite amusing nonetheless.

Some might think it tasteless to joke about this sort of thing, but frankly the sauce was too. Oh, and while I remember, a very Happy Chinese New Year of the Horse to you all!
